World stock markets fall a new fear of trade wars
World stock markets on Monday reduced actively due to the escalation of fears concerning further prospects of development of trade relations between the US and China.
U.S. stock indexes on Friday managed to demonstrate positive dynamics after the publication of data on the labor market in the U.S. in April, the unemployment rate in the country was the lowest in the last 50 years.
However, Asian markets on Monday showed a significant decline, and the Chinese market has fallen by more than 5% after the statement of the President of the United States Donald trump that he could increase the import duty from 10% to 25% on a number of products from China. In addition, it is possible the introduction of new duties on Chinese imports, which duties are not levied.
European stocks also fall, showing a decline of more than 2% in the trading concerns. If informed investors were almost completely sure that USA and China will soon sign a long-awaited final agreement on trade, now that confidence has deteriorated.
