Nikolai Durov, co-founder of Telegram, has created a new programming language for network TON, according to a publication in the Telegram-channel Tgram published on 24 may.

The post presents a new programming language called Fift, which is specially designed for the development and management of smart contracts and blockchain TON of interaction with the virtual machine TON (TVM).

TVM, in turn, executes the code of the smart contract on the blockchain TON, supporting all the operations required to analyze the incoming messages and data. In the document attached to the post, a brief overview of the Fift, including, without limitation, the basics of the language and operations associated with TON.

It is known that the Telegram is planning to launch the network Telegram Open Network in the third quarter of 2019. It is anticipated that TON will be placed in decentralized applications, similar to Ethereum.
