Cryptocurrency startup Ripple joined blockchain consortium Hyperledger along with 13 other new members. During the existence of the consortium, established in 2015, the Linux Foundation, it included 231 companies and organizations.

Technical Director of Ripple ‘s Stefan Thomas (Stefan Thomas) said that this partnership will allow developers to apply Interledger Protocol (ILP) in Java at the corporate level. Previously, the Protocol that connects the different banks and blackany, worked on JavaScript, however, Ripple in cooperation with the Japanese company NTT Data in the past year expanded its capabilities.
